The W137 Moving Head Sleeve Wrapping Machine has been designed to run at productions rates of up to 30 products per minute. To achieve this high line speed the W137 is used in conjunction with an M series two chamber heat shrink tunnel to ensure that there is sufficient heat to shrink the polyethylene at high running speeds.
The W137 retains the simplicity of a two reel sleeve wrapper system but by sealing and cutting the shrink film whilst moving with the product enables a faster production speed. This is because the time taken for the seal to take place effectively reduces.
The W137 features a large, touch screen diagnostic display for machine operation. The machine uses a heavy duty, Teflon coated, solid blade which is designed for constant running at speeds of 30 products per minute.
The maximum size that the W137 can wrap is 500mm wide by 350mm high. It is well suited to handling trays of food products or large stacks of magazines at high speeds.
